Namaste & Good afternoon everybody. Welcome to the live coverage of 11th SAG Women's Football Final match between Nepal and India.

Players from both side are about to enter to the ground. Nepali Players are seen in... Jersey and Indian are in....
Nepal lost the league match against India while India was unbeaten in the league round.

It is the first time that Women's Football Category was included in SAG.

Nepali Players are seen to take revenge of the league match in which they lost by 5-0.


10" Nepali Players are seen very good in counter attack. The performance of Pramila, Annu and Deepa is really praiseworthy. Nepal is optimistic in their performance.

India is awarded a spot kick for a foul upon Naoibi by Deepa inside the Box. The skipper Oinam Bembem Devi runs to kick the penalty. Badluck to Nepal. Will Namita be able to block the penalty.


There is a chaos due to the penalty. There is a misunderstanding between the referee and the assistant referee. Assistant referee was showing just a free kick but the referee gave it penalty. Nepali Players are about to leave the match. Team manager Bimala Poudel is with the players to console them......


Game was postponed for more than 10 minutes.

Oinam Bembem Devi does not miss the chance. She converts the spot kick into goal. Finally she was able to level the match. Nepal-1, India-1.

50" Tababi Devi scored to give a lead to India. Bhagwati Thapa is unable to control with her chest though she found the ball. Devi scored from the Box.


55" India is giving much pressure to Nepal than in the first half. Nepali players lost their confidence after the first goal. Though they are not able to create any sound move but are blocking the Indian to score more goals.

56" Ammolya Jayaram finds the cross from right side by Tababi Devi and directly sends it to the net to double the lead. India-3 Nepal-1.


75" Nepali Players fail to make any good move. Their moral is down with the goal


Final Whistle blows: It's the final score 3-1. India won the gold medal and Nepal is limited to the Silver.


Though the game was stopped due to the penalty chaos for more than 10 minutes, the referee added just five minutes. Nepali players along with the official protested the referee's decision. But nothing was done.


Anyway Nepal won the silver medal in the girls event.
